Questions
Eve hides low-quality videos on your YouTube home page and in the suggestions next to the video you’re watching. To decide, it uses your Show and Hide lists, which it drafts from your YouTube when you set it up. Eve also hides Shorts and the ads on your home page. Eve works in Chrome on a computer, not on phones or TVs, using the YouTube account you’re signed in to.
Click Eve’s ring in Chrome’s toolbar and change the line closest to the mistake. Search still finds every video.
Open the ⋮ menu on the video and choose Hide videos like this. Eve looks at the video, adds a line to your Hide list, and takes the video off your home page. Undo is right there if you change your mind.
Only once, at setup. The titles go to Eve’s server so it can draft your Show and Hide lists, and Eve doesn’t keep them.
Yes. I read what Eve kept and hid for you, so I can fix its mistakes. The email address and name of your Google account are attached to it. I use your email and name to know who uses Eve and to reach you about Eve, and Eve never sells them or uses them for ads. Eve doesn’t store your YouTube account. You can delete everything at any time from Eve’s ring in Chrome’s toolbar. Eve doesn’t keep your likes, subscriptions or watch history.
No. Eve is free, and there’s no payment set up, so you can’t be charged.
I do. I’m Simon Bruno, and you can write to me at simonadrbruno@gmail.com.
